Well not direct via satellite but via w*w.a2btv.com i have been useing the service for the last 12 hours and it works well and i get all the channels fine and can use the pvr :)

I think slingboxing gets more and more important although not everywhere in the world affordable flatrates with stabile highspeed upstream are available yet. But i am asking myself how long can such a service survive ? In Europe we have severe problems to get legally a subscription of another countrys' pay tv bouquet and this company (?) offers US TV abroad to everybody ?

Anyway, do you also get radio stations and is highspeed zapping possible ?

Bleedin hell. Minimum 79 bucks a month. Thats expensive.

Thread moved as Its nothing to do with fringe reception ;)

yes get all radio and tv channels and high speed channel change

Excellent. Maybe other countries will follow. Would be nice to have access to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Brazil,...

The radio channels you get Rd100, are they received over local FM Tuner ? I wonder if this is possible. Would be great to get also local terrestrial analogue and digital programming.

Can you tell us some more about the practical things how it went on when you ordered it, how fast did they deliver after you signed up on their webpage?

Also they specify you need a U.S address and a social security number to be able to sign up.

Please show us some pictures...

yes im interested in how u signed up in wales,,,please give more details

also in the contact section...a postal address is givin which is always a bit more reassuring..

and dont forget...we get 2 dollars to the uk pounds.....dammm i wanna know more :)

also....i have notcied this in the FAQ:-

What is the ‘Total’ cost to me?
After you've paid the initial set up costs and purchased the necessary equipment, you will receive two invoices each month. One invoice comes from a2bTV that covers the cost of your hosting, DVR Concierge, customer service and bandwidth. This cost is either $49.00 or $99.00 per month based on the type of service you order.. You will also need to pay your satellite TV provider for the package of programs that you have purchased. Your satellite invoice varies based on your selected programming package and will range between $29.99 and $99.99 per month

Sounds very interest as i'm sure alot of them american series are not far from starting up again.

Fill us in with some more details if you would.
