I name ; a question

I wouldn't know why or what I should be afraid of.

Here in Holland we cycle a lot, and you learn to ride a bike from childhood. From small to large. The same goes for saucers; you start small first.
 
You are aware of this, but people who have not used a big dish often underestimate how finely you can tune on each satellite at an orbital position.
Additionally any modification as per the o/ps suggestion
(and with the diagram from VMA) would require hinges at, or near the feedhorn, adding weight, introducing their own tolerances and weakening the area which should really be as rigid as possible.
