this is my first post,.

i live in tanzania and i need nilesat 102/101/or atlantic bird4 any of them how can i do
what the dish size must i have to get it or which kind of Receiver
 
Without knowing the exact received downlink powers in Tanzania that question is impossible to answer. The only answer we can give you is "possibly".

We dont have many members in the Tanzania area, and I doubt many of those few have big dishes om 7W

There a friend of mine who lives in Mombasa Kenya who claims that he has received Nile sat with a 1.5 meters Ku dish 9 fibre glass). he got this dish from the Vsat companies.
 
the beam,of atlantic bird 4,is very high foucused!

here,in austria it is very strong,with 90 cm like astra,in east germany up to 700 km away,you need 2,40 m dish for atlantic bird 4,also christan lyngmark,needs this dish size (belgium region i think he lives!

i only heard reports,from people lives in nigeria,that is posible to reveive astra,with 4 Meter dish,i can not check this,myself only reports from the net !

what satelites,you can get,with your antenna in tanzania?
 
At Bird 4 has 2 beams. One widebeam focussed on the Meditterranean, which I would say is unlikely in Tanzania.The spot beam covers north eastern Africa quite nicely, and may just about be possible in Tanzania with a big enough dish.

turok you say i will get it with dish 2.40 i want to be to sure because what if i buy it and then it fails, then what should i do?
 
Hold on my friend, which channels are you wanting - lets see if they are on the Africa beam first.

DONT say "all of them" - because you dont have a hope of getting all of them without a silly sized dish - you are just too far out of the coverage areas.
