IDTE 2020 F software update problem

Hi,

I updated the software with no problems, but on restart the receiver is stuck on an IDTE screen and with an "init" on the box panel. I can update the software again but after that it gets stuck again on the same.

Any suggestions?

If anybody is interested, I found the answer on a different receiver brand (Aktis).

You need to access the Service Menu by pressing V+ and V- together, plug the receiver in, and wait till the panel shows 8888.

I too have had the same problem and had almost given up. Many Thanks for your post, I will give it a try.

I would be very grateful if you could point me in the right direction for Atkis solution.

Also, after going through the Service Menu, at rebooting when you have the starting screen, just use the OK key and the system will start. At least that was happened to me.
