Anybody tried this?

Not a fan of Micros**t generally, but have taken a shine to Windows 7 since getting a new Laptop, so I've decide to download the IE9 Beta to compare with Firefox 4 Beta 6.

Supposed to be mega-quick rendering Web pages, which may not have much of an impact for me as my Interweb connection is slow and must be the prime limiting factor for efficient browsing, but I'm going to try it anyway.

Has the page/site loaded up yet ? ;)
 
Bets on Tivu running IE9 Beta

1) Computer said no
2) Ring main taken out
3) Town without power
4) Wormhole opened and Tivu is now on a moon orbiting Neptune
 
I wonder how much code M$ have stolen to date from Mozilla to create IE9? :-rofl2

I'm not going to be trying out any M$ browser again, every time I do, a virus gets in... :p
 
Not a lover of IE, so don't think I'll bother.
 
Got the call for tea and SWMBO time, so haven't had time to play with IE9 yet.

Sorry about all the erroneous conspiracy theories.
 
I've been using it today and it is definitely quick, but they seem to be playing catch-up with Mozilla.

Mozilla Firefox was in the doldrums for a while, but Version 4 (now available in Beta 6) is vastly improved. Nice to use, nice to look at and very customisable.

Nothing in IE9 sways me to switch from Firefox.

Now duly removed and Lappie de-bloated.
