Hello all,

There seems to be an (unannounced ?) change in the DM7020-hardware! At different boards I found some topics about all images not working on a new DM7020-receiver. When opened, the Topic-starters noticed that the DM7020 had been fitted with an Alps-tuner, instead of the default Philips...

It seems like DMM has made a change to the system, like they did with the DM500 a couple of months back... Since the new tuner WILL NOT funtion using the old driver, all current images will result in an "Error UC0"-situation!

How to recognize the new tuner? Here's some info that you'll find on the tuner itself, when you take a look at it:

Are you saying that there are no Images for these then?
 
no m8 just need to be carefull wat image you use thats all

If somebody wants to clone the 7020, fit a better tuner, sort out all the boot and stability problems and sell it for half the price, then...

Then, I may then consider buying one :D

But of course it would still be considered immoral.
