Can anyone asses how much is this dish degraded by using an inappropriet LNBF? Dish is probabbly Prodelin 240 cm (4 petals). Thanks.Prodelin-240-with-wrong-LNBF.jpg

Nothing wrong if the panels are aligned correctly.

Perhaps the owner is having trouble getting a feedhorn that is correct for the reflector (Looks like a 1244 so a 0.8 f/d plus clamping arrangement).

Thanks.
Dish is for sale.
New owner of house does not have a clue what this dish is use for so he is selling it.
And LNBF caught my attention.

That looks like an Alps narrow LNB, I would guess that any LNB with a wider feed would work better. The aspect ration of the photo seems to have been stretched.

Yes, the picture from different angle is better:Prodelin.jpg

I have attached a few pictures below of the correct Ku-Band feed that is matched to a Prodelin 1244 dish.
You can use the matched feed with an original Ku-Band OMT or it can be slightly modified to accept a C120 flange LNB.

Most likely it is Black Inverto Multiconnect. I think that simple Inverto Black Ultra (IBU) will work fine on this dish, if installed properly.
