Hi there,

That one may be a stupid question: I have a friend of mine in Algeria who is using DreamBox satelite sharing to get payed channels.

The question is: is it technically possible to check which channels he is watching or watched previously? He worries about his privacy

If the DreamBox is connected to a server to get payed channels "cheaper", is there any way to protect privacy?
 
Not really, if you are connected to a server, the server admin will be able to see which services that keys are being requested for.

I'd leave any talk about payed servers at that. This is a hobbiest forum and as such pay-servers are frowned on.
