info about Irdeto 2

this is my first thread !!
anyway , i joined this forum hoping to find the info i need...
i would be very much thankful if u kindly give me links to any site containing info about Irdeto 2 encryption system , i honestly think cracking the irdeto 2 system is quite easy once we understand how it works , and if assume the worse case possible , the cost of cracking it wont be more than the cost of the original card right?
i have vague idea about irdeto 2, like that irdeto 2 subscribers make up a sort of a small LAN network with the server (the company) ,
