Can someone please tell me if its worth purchasing and installing an Inline satelitte booster (around 10 euros), in order to improve the signal and picture quality here in Southern Spain.

I have the standard 1.3m dish, pace 430 box, televes single lnb but still the signal is not great.

I have read (but not sure to believe) that this booster will improve the signal which sounds like a good thing, but they do not have a power source so i actuall cant see how things could get better.

Does anyone know about these things???

thanks

I have tried one in Costa Blanca, and found it a waste of time. Check your dish alignment, and LNB skew. If that shows no improvement, I would suggest a bigger dish.

An inline 'IF' amplifier will only increase the noise floor on short cable runs.
Only recommended on runs over 50Mts
