INSAT 3A / 4B 93,5 E in CENTRAL ITALY

Looks like it was Tropospheric Superrefraction or Ducting/Trapping in the SHF band as shown in _http://www.users.bigpond.com/vk2krr/DUCTING.htm. I wonder how big fluctuations can be and if there can be given a probability for occuring or not like in _http://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo_eur.html

have u notice about an increased signal level on MIDDLE EAST BEAM?????

So far four transponders from Amos1 (Middle East beam) have moved to Amos3. The signal is better compared with Amos2 (Middle East beam), see below (the threshold is 5.5 d.
To get the best signal from Amos3 I have to move the dish a little from West to Est

Amos3:
10972 V 8.0 dB
11108 V 9.0 dB
11474 V 8.2 dB
11558 V 7.8 dB

Amos2
10722 V 6.4 dB
10806 V 6.3 dB
10840 V 6.0 dB
10925 V 7.0 dB

Curious observation:
10986 H is only watchable after 9 pm until 10 am.

Last year I played with C band. The weakest signal was from ******,

i have some doubt about the last post of " RD 100 "

about the possibility of the reception of the middle east beam

of 4 west in the UK

please my friend if u are sure 100%

post some photo of your decoder with the signals

because

in central italy with 1,8 fiberglass PRODELIN

i dont have any chance

in all the tp's ( middle east beam )

so i'm more close of you to the beam

i think you make some confusion !

not to want to make some polemic

only for curiosity

please if u want why u dont make some photo

to your 3,7 prodelin with the polar mount????

Amos ME beam in UK? LOL no I think European beam. I can remember early times when HBO package was received in Maidstone/UK where actually was Wizja TV bradcast center, and as I can remember there was huge problems in receiving this spot with 5m? dish can't remember now exact size.
