Help Required Installation Guide for Andrew 8ft (2.4m) Radome Dish ?

Hi,

Would anyone have a copy or link to the official install guide for an Andrew 2.4m Radome dish.
I have the option to purchase the dish and accessories and am thinking of installing the dish excluding the radome.

The dish is currently crated up and in the radome the reverse way round for transport safety.
It would be useful to have an illustration of the mounting assembly as a component check against what is with the dish.

The part numbers are

Andrew PAR8-59-PXA
Andrew 105253-2
 
That dish is optimized for 5.9 to 6.4 GHz, what are you going to be using it for???

I think that the J hook feed supplied with the dish might be the limiting factor re the 6 GHz band.
My hopes are to throw away the J hook feed and the radome and use the reflector as a normal reflector for Ku-Band

I recall there being a difference in material assembly/curing times with R6 and P6 reflectors but it was a long time ago. How old is the one you have purchased ?

I have not purchased it yet.
However, based on the appearance of the wooden crate with weathered wood it looks as though it is a brand new old stock antenna setup including radome, never been broken out of the crate. The wood of the crate looks old, dried up a little and lost its colour.

At the moment I am currently trying to work out the practicality of the project and if it is workable.
 
OK that antenna normally used at 6 GHz(upper limit) should work for Ku band as that's 12 GHz, that's two times full wavelength. (6 GHz X 2 = 12 GHz)
