Installing Multi-Room myself?

I am considering adding a second Sky+ box (I already have one, plus a full sky package).

If I buy a Sky+ box myself and install, connecting to the same phone line, can I order a second card from Sky to use in the second box?

I know you can get free installation from Sky if you go for multiroom, but I would rather do the work myself, plus I am considering buying an upgraded HDD box.

Any advice would be welcome,

Should be fine, you will only pay £10/month for your mirror subscription.
