I'm well out of the loop as you can imagine ..
Currently checking Christinas alignment on the arc ..
Moved to 53W ..and nothing ??
No Africable or Maisha..
Has this sat been dropped from service ..or do I have a problem ?
 
not been this far west for months --
no sign of life for me either yet -- those channels were always borderline for me here though

Can't find any info regarding it being put out to grass ..but looks ominous

oh btw ..UTV is stronger in the evening/night ..
..and can't get anything at all from Paksat.

Managed to get Africable back with some dish tweaking on the arc..
Barely getting 2db ...Maisha is barely 3db ..and unlockable.
I can only conclude it's down to leafage growth ..or this bird has indeed reduced power and/or slightly changed footprint.
Christinas cam3 'eye' ..not only shows some tree growth in the lower field of vision ..but also the miserable weather we OOoop north are getting..

Very dark and thick cloud overhead ..but then ...that's nothing new for Manchester..

I checked Int23 last weekend and came up totally empty. I haven't seen anything on this bird in several months.

Well, really surprised i'm receiving anything today from 47W upwards ..... it's been raining nearly all afternoon and is now , the tree opposite is soaking wet through and is in really thick foliage now but managed to grab these on the 6983 card LHC and a measly one tp on RHC.
Tried 43W earlier @CJ but nothing to be had, some signals there but nothing locked.

Errr, if i'm understanding you correctly my player priority in EBSpro is: 1/ VLC player. 2/TSReader etc .... is this what you mean ?EBSpro grab.webp
 
No, in the BS screen, you have frequencies that it scanned but was unable to lock. I can only get these to show if I get a lock.
 
Hi all tried new plate today on 53W get AIT channels all ok i thought i would try Maisha and Africable i have not seen these two channels for a long time anyway tried Africable it come in at 2.1db i then tried Maisha it came in at 3db no lock,does any one know what db would lock this channel.P2020015.webpP2020011.webp
 
If you can wait till tomorrow I'll check it on both the 1.8 and 2.4, the latter has been in bird bath mode for a few weeks but it looks like we've got some calm weather here for the next week.

According to Lyngsat it needs 4.0db .....
i can reach that sat with the 1.8 .... will check it later .. and see if it is so
