hi guys, iam living in the midlands in r.o.i . was lookin to receive some ofthe channels of the digitv package but its seems my dish may be not big anough. i have a 80cm dish with clear line of sight but am still getting problems the only channels i seem to be getting are 12418 V 28000 (poker channel ziva etc) T2 beam , Duna on T2 and channels of T1 beam all of which i get a signal strength of around 80%. iam receiving none of the digitv channels or anything of intelsat. any help would be great thanks/
 
For you:

Thor 6 K2 just under 45 dBW and dropping rapidly further west. Suggest dish 1m 0r over needed.

Intelsat Spot 3/3X between 46 and 47 dBW. Suggest dish 90cm or over needed.

Although it's not surprising you are getting T2 ok, T1 also looks as if it should be getting marginal for you, but then published Footprints are only a guide, not gospel.

Nevertheless, the bottom line is that your dish is too small for Digi TV.
 
A decent 100cm should suit mshaw43488, Gibertini or Televes for example. Also careful dish alignment maybe required :)
