Not a peep in Scotland on 1m. Might be able to get a few db when the weather's more agreeable.

Looking at the footprint on Flysat the signal drops off to the north of the UK . Signal now down 2 dB in the overcast evening.

Ah satbeams was suggesting it might have been borderline up here. Not surprised I didn’t get anything!

Always worth trying a many of the footprints are more theoretical than actual. The infamous "MBC beam" covering the MENA area on Badr 4 was a complete fabrication almost certainly for the benefit of the rights holders. I could get it easily on an 80cm dish at equal strength with the other Badr 4 channels in Galashiels. I could also get 1 tp on Eute 25A at 25E in good weather despite being 1500km or so north out of the desired beam!

These are the so-called side lobes, where it is possible to receive a signal outside the main beam in a narrow area

Here in Slovakia, it is, for example, Astra2 UK beam reception in a limited area with a 140cm dish

News channels ( mexican ?) on Europe/ Mediterranean beam :

African beam still received here too (Triax 100cm dish ):

Cherifla appears to have gone from here, but I now get the Televisa bouquet on 11558 H.

(My LNB may have got skewed slightly)

I'll do a check soon at 34.5W, and if I have a definite result, I'll post it.
Thanks for the heads-up. :)

Cherifla Tv is running CH, not too strong with me here on the 2.2m and also needed a skew tweek.
