2.4m fortec solid-24" vonweise actuator-esx 241 lnbf(c)-vbox 7 positioner- dm800.
1.2m fortec-24"sj actuator-invacom snh-031--tm 5402 m3.

Two new tp scanned in yesterday at 50w:

Intelsat 1 R

3740 V 3262- scans in as Digital-H

3884 V 2662- scans in as Rede Tv-Ro SGC

This is one bird that eludes most of us in the UK ..
Nelson has had some success receiving channels in the past ...and I briefly had on channel logged in from Lagos ...which ran at a very high power level for a few months ..
Sadly Nothing atm ..not even a hint of signal on any transponder.

That's too bad VS. There are at least 20-25 channels that scan in on this sat. Are you picking up the tp on Intelsat 707 at 53w?

I just submitted it to Lyngsat- been up several months now.
 
I'll try that one now ...but so far I've only ever seen Africable ...
...but I suspect its a western beam transponder only.
I think we only really have any chance in the UK if its an East or Global beam..

Just swung the dish over ....and entered your supplied transponder details..
Not even a hint of a signal ..so probably a West beam only on that one
..very frustrating ....but not unexpected.
Its very useful to have someone on the other side of the pond to confirm what is and isn't possible.

Another bird we cannot sniff here is Intelsat25 ...fairly recently added at 31.5W...
Mainly mid Africa and the US...
Nothing for us in Europe.
Presumably not out of reach for you though ?

I'm not one to leave live links as I am an admin on a North American site but this version of VBulletin is a bit different.

a blind search with the vantage s.d. at 50 west - just revealed --
A.I.T national 4086 H 4444 ---
still shows that realy odd -- low signal strength - high quality reading

Nice to know you can still receive something from 50W Nelson..
With the exception of that period when Lagos boomed in ...I still am blind at this location ..with or without wings..

That's got to be an eastern spotbeam because I am not getting any signal on the 4086 tp at all.
