Through an ex-pat forum I've just come across this website :

I've got two friends and my stepdaughter coming by ferry to Ouistreham tomorrow evening and this site allows you to track a ferry in real time. I can tell when it docks or even if it's late.

Not only that, you can track any ship, anywhere in the world! I think it's cool, but then I'm sad!

Thats great! When you invite the members of the forum over for a freebie holiday will you be able to see us waving to you as we dock?
 
Not sure the words 'freebie' and 'holiday' go together!! Unfortunately, I've yet to discover the website which allows you to zoom in via satellite in real time. Unless someone here knows?..............................
 
I'm sure that Somali pirates will find this website an invaluable aid to their 'trade'.
