Interface Lead for Digital Receiver

Does anyone have an idea where I can find an adapter to add to a usb to RS232 lead. The serial port end is male, as is my receiver end, so I guess I need a female to female adapter to link it all together.

No idea where to find one. Obvious sources like ebay and maplin have drawn a blank

Its the only thing stopping me "sorting my Tecnomate out" :-(

Got a USB adaptor cable but cannot use it my computer can't seem to recognise my receiver. Possibly something to do with USB2? Anyway, for various reasons I can't download the drivers, so I guess I'll have to find a straightforward RS232 lead.

I assume that I can use the d@£$man software with a Windows 98 machine? If not, someone please let me know.
