Advice Needed Intermittent ERR2 on VBOX when driving dish east

So they're soldered on board ? Not cleanable ?

The plastic cover is glued to the base plate of the relays , cleaning is no solution .
Inside is no dirt , the contacts are burned together , by a shock they will come lose (sometimes )

Relays like that (and most others for a very long time!!) are fully sealed and can't be opened/cleaned, and so they have to be replaced, which shouldn't be difficult as there are probably only 4 or 6 pins on each one pushed through the PCB and soldered to the other side -> unsolder pins & pull out old relays, clean up the holes in the PCB and then fit & solder new relays. Probably about 10-15 mins maximum!

me and de-soldering DO NOT get on :)

i will press for replacement or refund - they're trying a trick of "we will test and if no fault found you will be charged £24@ - yeah, alright guys!!!

i will complain to amazon about this, i know its not my motor at fault now, and you guys have now help determine the issue - dodgy\ cheap relays

Same as me, inevitably I end up burning the motherboard.

yes, and then chucking all the bits in the bin in a fit of rage! LOL

i recently tried to replace capacitors on an old xbox, thought it was the problem, i did manage to de-solder all 5 or 6 caps - but problem remained after replacing caps...not sure if it was me and my bad de-soldering and re-soldering new, or I just wrongly diagnosed the problem.
