Today is August the 13th and I learnt that it is the day for left handers.
I am left handed but I think I managed to go through life without much difficulties. My parents didn't try to force me to write with my right hand fortunately.
At the ATM machines, I still find that inserting my credit card in the slot at the right is a bit of a nuisance.
No problems using the mouse on the right side.
They say that left handed persons will live a shorter life than right handed. Will see about that when I reach 120
Left-Handers Day: 13 facts about the wonderful left

I too am left handed, but have never understood why handedness has to be turned into an issue.

It's just a characteristic, no more.

Well I am one of the fortunate ambidextrous types , I can write left or right handed, play table tennis left or right handed, bowls left or right handed and darts left or right handed. Indeed since I lost a root nerve to my right arm I would say my left is somewhat more dominant now

Ahh, recognition for us lefties....I don't find much that annoys me about right hand orientated things, though I use the computer mouse in my left hand. Used to play badminton and tennis with my left had but played cricket right handed. Learnt to play guitar right handed, which is just as well, because there's a slight premium on left handed guitars...and naturally left handed people are artisitic, talented and good looking....

It is a big issue for me because I can't get away with the perfect murder. Any detective will say "A leftie did it"

:-lol

"Just one more thing, Sir"

"Just one more thing, Sir"

Don't...right now, SWMBO is watching the one with Dick Van Dyke as the most unlikely murderer ever.....

I know this one ... it was Mary Poppins wot done it.

D'you know I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

Only thing I could ever really do moderately well with my left hand was to play table tennis which I did (many, many years ago, at youth club! :D) when playing someone a lot poorer than me!
OTOH, nowadays, my left arm and hand are probably stronger than my right ones - go figure!
