Good for what? Invacom make a number of different LNBs which have a good reputation. Which one are you talking about? And what do you want to use it for?

Yes they perform very well, although Hotbird fires in so may not see a great improvement on the stronger satellites.

The Black Ultra is a really good LNB and costs less.

The Hotbirds put out such a high power signal any scabby old second hand lnb from the bottom of the junk pile will work fine in the UK. For years I had a 0.6dB lnb on my 13E dish and it worked just great.

Some Invacoms are great for picking up weak signals.

They recommend them in Spain if trying to pickup Sky.

Getting Sky in Spain doesn't need anything special, 70cm dish will do fine. The problem is receiving the Freesat channels from Astra 2D.

For prime focus dishes where a flange twin or quad LNB is required the Invacom is a fairly good LNB... but there's not much competition in that market. For single prime focus or LNBs that go in a 40mm clamp there are other options that cost less money and perform at least as well if not better.
