Inverto Black Ultra

I must admit I didn't think there was a cover until someone on here told me about it.

I'd better go and pull my cover down!

Really?? You have to 'pinch' the section covering the F connection and pull it down. I must admit I didn't think there was a cover until someone on here told me about it.

Just nipped out and checked mine - yup, didn't notice the cover before, thanks :-DOH!

LOL, I had mine on weeks before I realised that that bit pulled down,a small flat bladed screwdriver helps to get it started if it won't budge to start with.

Damn it, think I need to get a ladder out and see if my covers are on as I got an installer to do it for me. But yup I have nothing to compare it to but I'm getting +80% SNR from almost every channel on 13, 19 and 28e.

One question for you guys, I've getting a big conservatory put on to my house and I'm going to have another sat box in there - I was thinking of getting the Inverto Ultra Quad for dual tuners in both rooms. Should this affect the signal quality I'm receiving compared to my single?

In theory it should not make a jot of difference. In practice, if it does, it'll be imperceptible (I'm making that my Word Of The Week).

Sri to disappoint you tivu, but when I replaced my 'Best' 0.1db single Lnb with a dual one some channels on Astra 28e (ITV HD on 11462, Ben, and some other fringe channels were no go.

It doesn't disappoint me at all. Is "Best" a Brand , or what?

Sounds like you might benefit from a Black Ultra yourself - I've yet to hear from a single solitary soul who hasn't found it to be the bees wotsits.

Heck, I might even have to get one myself.

I've got the Twin and Quad. I've interchanged them on my SMW dish, and haven't noticed any variation in signal strength / quality.

The Black Ultra appears to be a perfect match for my SMW dish, even though the dish is designed for use with SMW C120 LNBs.

They work really well on the TD110, actually it almost has to have it. LOL

Swapped the Silvertech LNB for a Black Ultra an my 1m Gibby. Didn't make much odds on the strong stuff on 5e, but the weaker stuff like Viasat PL it made a differance. The SNR only increased slightly, but the BER was much lower, and translated onto the quality bar of my Azbox, I got as much as an extra 9% quality.

I have the Single, Twin and Quad of the Black Ultra but the Single performs best on my Laminas.I was not so impressed of the Twin and Quad, close to Smart Titanium 2nd Ed Quad in performance.

best lnb ever its the long feed horn that makes the difference.

You notice it aspecaily on 26e

That's good enough for me mate im ordering 1 now and post the results this weekend.

i find my black ultra out shines all other 40mm lnbs i have around the house and for the asking price its a must have .

but on my gibertini 120 offset dish i find my channel master feedhorn a perfect match . with a white tech single in the cm horn it can match or slightly improve on the ultra black .

I too am going to get the black ultra to pull in a few of the weaker sats, especially 26e.

I see there are some on fleebay for about 12 pounds, would it be a good buy from there.

I've got that particular supplier bookmarked also - I need both a single and a twin.

Good feedback,so go for it.

Will do, Thanks tivu.
