iOS 9 is rumoured to go live on Wednesday 16/09 around 18:00 UK time.

I just hope they have sorted all the reported bugs out yet.

No chance, there's no beta testing, consumers are beta testers lol

To be honest I absolutely f#*king HATE the current version of Android, Lollipop has the right name, as it sucks the big one. Best droid was 4.2.2 (Jellybean), Google came up with ShitKat, removed SD card permissions from apps, if I wanted a restricted phone I'd of bought the shitty Nexus or iPhone both lacking in SD card support as for Lollipop........... Ooft......

Apparently, they are dropping support for anything other than TLS 1.2 SSL encryption. Which is annoying because that means that we have to replace some rather expensive load balancers at work that support it.... Gah! Thanks crapple.

I do like their desktop OS. Well, that or Windows - what would you do?!

Window's??........... What's that?......

1 of the good things about the update is that 8.4.1 takes about 4.5gb of storage and on a 16gb phone doesn't leave much room for all the other stuff.

But according to Apple iOS9 is 1.5gb so it should give me more space to play with.

And some of the older devices will also be able to get the update.

It's still rumoured to be available 18:30 UK time.

That's a big reduction in file size, I wonder how they've achieved that?

iOS9 went live just after 18:00 this evening 16/09/2015

So far can't really see a big difference, apart from multi tasking.

I'm going to wait a while and let the dust settle, still got some apps that need updating for iOS9 compatibility anyway.

Luckily I'm running a bin of a phone (Only 512Mb ram) that I've rooted etc and is on 4.2.2. I had the Xiamoi Redmi Note and their phones run a skinned version of Android, was bloody kitkat though underneath. Done my head in the lack of storage because of the SD card ban for odb data etc.

Been running iOS9 since it came out, and so far the cookies are causing some problems.
Every time I load this forum I have to keep signing in, and a pop up keeps coming up.

It is not a big problem, it's just so annoying. When I had ios8.4 I didn't have this issue.

Has anyone else had this?

That's a pain in the ring right there buddy.

Have you tried another browser like Chrome?

Might try it. Still prefer to use safari. Just tried chrome, lasted about 1 min. Lots of pop ups and screens.

Sticking with Safari.

Mozilla (Funnelcake 40.0.3 ) shows the same pop-up

Hmm, might have to hold on for a bit then as Chrome on iOS 8 works very well.
