That transponder is on a frequency re-use spot beam competing with Maghreb, which is minidish power here so I'm sure it must block IRIB into the UK.Analoguesat said:No chance whatsoever on any hobby sized dish You might get it on the Jodrell Bank dish

All Irib channels still on air from 62E .deepbluesky said:I wonder if the transmissions from 62E & 105.5E will cease.
Of course you're right Adonis. Since the IRIB channels were activated after the report from qwer, it is definitely the Maghreb beam which was nearly received and not the Central Asia Beam.adonis1 said:How do we know which of two beams the signal is ? I supose that is from Maghreb beam , cos is closer to that beam .
62E allows the highest elevation in whole Iran so probably transmission will remain active. Maybe 26E and 105.5E are beeing used as an alternative in cases where reception from 62E is blocked.adonis1 said:All Irib channels still on air from 62E .

deepbluesky said:You misunderstood us dxn. What Adonis meant and i agreed was that qwer on July 30th could not have received the Central Asia Beam, thus the IRIB channels because at that time they were not activated. So it is for sure that he nearly got the Canal+ Maghreb package. The Central Asia Beam seems too far away from SW Germany.

At 1st , they were transmitted on 12188 H , which was very unstable , after that , this frequency was discontinued , and they were re transmitted on 12322 V .
However , Ive noticed that transmission of Badr 5 is somehow unstable .
