Hi All

I just had my Sky+ installed in the Republic of Ireland today.

However I notice I do not have any of the Irish TV channels. ie RTE1 & 2, TV3 and TG4. (or Channel 4)

Any ideas how I "load" these channels?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Is this with a UK subscription?
 
no, its an Irish subscription.
I dont have Channel 4 either so I presume I dont have a UK subscription.

Also, the installation was done whilst I was in work so I didnt receive any info from the intallation guy. I notice theres a slot in the front of the sky+ box for a card, but theres no card in there. I couldnt see anywhere else to slot a card. Does that mean I didnt get a card, or is it installed internally in the box?

The box appears to be a Pace 80gig (but I could be wrong)
 
There should be a flap under the slot which conceals the subscription card, sounds like the card may not have been activated, have you got any of the Sky subscription channels?
 
yes I have access to the full sports package as ordered.

I will investigate further when I get home this evening
 
Don't worry, they will come. It takes up to 48 Hours for the card to get the correct info and you'll get RTE1, RTE2, TV3 and TG4 instead of the BBC channels. Same happened to me...

Hi Cupart.

Do you use your Apple Mac in conjuction with your system?
In what way does if enhance your system?

I use a top of the range Apple G5.
