Is it possible to cure baldness?

Luckily I haven't reached that stage yet, but I am more concerned for my m8, who has the Bobby Charlton comb-over hairdo.

I heard that scientists are at this moment working on the idea that the minute "baby" hair left on a bald head, and been made stronger in the root and fully develop back into a full head of hair.

If there are any Yul Brynners in here, put a strong light on tonight and examine the minute "baby" hair still on your head. That's the hair the scientists want to make stronger.

There used to be a snake oil seller in Blackpool who did a range of lotions and ointments to be rubbed in to the affected area to supposedly strengthen that hair. Any noticable effect was probably as much down to the massaging as to the potions. (or so I'm told) ;-)

I guy used a sackgrow thing, one of those bags full of soil to help grow your plants.

A few weeds sprouted but that's all. It was in the Sun, so it's must be true. ;)
