is my box knackered??

80cm Orbital Satellite Dish
Motorized
LNB with 2 outputs, 2nd output leading to upstairs and using Dreambox 500S.
Pioneer VSX-1018AH-K Amp/Receiver,
My Location
Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland
my 500s fell from the top of my tv this morning, now all I get is the green light and no output on the tv screen

what can I do??

if its knackered, are there any 500s about that i can grab a buy for £50 or under?? (not after paying much as I am mainly using the 8000, its just that now I haven't got anything to watch in my bedroom
 
Have you opened it up to see if any connectors have come adrift?
 
i had a look inside and all appears to be where there should
 
any ideas??,
i've tried all i can think of, unplugging everything completely and leaving for a while but i still get the same thing, just the green light (even pressing standby on the box and remote) the light is constantly green and nothing at all comes on the tv screen, but i think something is going from the box to the tv cos the tv automaticly goes to the AV channel as soon as i plug the scart in the back of the box...

if it looks as if i need to get myself another box, i've come across this site, does anyone know if this site is good or not??

have u re flashed it?
 
I would think its a clone as they say its
from there factory but if you pay by a credit
card you can get your money back if it does not
arrive. I have a clone 800 from flebay it works ok
cost less then £200 and HD and PVR

If I reflash it, will I know as soon as I've connected the box to the pc whether the box is still working?? (eg, if its knackered, the pc won't recognise the box)??
