Jaeger 1224 restoration/modification

"Long nut" is often called a "Coupling nut" in the UK - available on ebay, and, I think, at Screwfix.
Thanks , I also dont now the UK name of that tool on the right side on the picture , we call it "drijver" or "doorslag" translation makes floater and breakdown of it ?
 
I think "pendrijver / doorslag / drevel" is pin punch
centre punch has a sharp point , we call it centerpons
 
OK, a blunt centre punch then.

Or perhaps a roll pin punch
 
Could also be called a drift or drift pin.
 
At that piece of M6 rod you can screw a M6 long nut to pull out that spigot which is secured with a M5 screw at the opposit end .
Hammer it out from the other side after putting some tension with that spigot puller .
