Does anyone have information on how to disable the limits, on the Jaeger SMR 1224 motor?
Just got round to replacing my Moteck H180, with the 1224, but it seems to have a hardware limit set around 37 degrees East, as I can't get it to move beyond this point.
If anyone has a link, to a manual, or information on where the limit settings are located, can they please post it.
Many thanks
Mickha

The limit switches are inside ... Will be very obvious - when you open it, you'll see two cogs on top of each other with notches on them.

Unfortunately rain has stopped play, at least for today, hopefully I'll be able to get back to it next weekend, still need to improve the tracking, of the arc, almost there, and remove the set limit.

I should get back to it next weekend, it's currently pouring down, but hopefully it will be nice next weekend, when I finish the installation.

If I remember you have to alter the limit switches manually as some was set too short in the factory mine was when I originally setup the motor.

As captain jack says it's the cogs that need adjusting I've forget which way you do it as I think it was anticlockwise for East and clockwise for west or vice versa

I managed to reset the East limit, during a break in the rain, but this has shown me how far out I am in tracking the arc !!!!!!!
Unfortunately Thunder, and Lightning, have now ended play, for the day, so hopefully next weekend will be fine and I can start adjusting the motor, and brackets, to get the dish tracking the arc.

Mick, you need to move. We had glorious sunshine all day and just back from a 2.5 hour walk.

You could be right, the next 5 day forecast doesn't look to good, and the highest temperature is only 17, lows of 12, a lot of cloud, and very little sunshine !!!!!!!!! Some wind, and rain, though, always seems to happen as soon as I start doing any outside work, including trying to get rid of a lot of clay soil !!!!!!
