Nice find @anto@ Pictures remind me AJAK HH180 mount. I think that if it was designed to deal with dishes up to 3.6m than it shpuld not be a problem to move 2.7m Laminas which is not so heavy dish.

@anto@

Thats a very nice motor, if its the same design and build quality as the AJAK H-180 it should be able to take a 10ft to 12ft dish without any problem. I hope it gives you good service.

Some top class motors in that photo, I wish you well in your search for the SMO36 to complete the family. Hopefully, you also have some nice dishes to mount on the motors.

I keep a couple of 36inch actuators back for any eventuality, though they are the earlier Jaeger models.

So would one or two others on this forum. If one were to come up for sale it would be a feeding frenzy with the fattest wallet coming out on top. A seller could ask real big chips for an SMO-36 and probably get it. I would certainly shell out large for one.

I've not found the one I used to have in storage, I would consider it lost for the time being.

The AJAK should be a suitable alternative if you ever have the need of an H-H motor for a reasonable size dish, provided it is the H-180 model. To the best of my knowledge there were three versions of the AJAK, listed below:

AJAK H-180 (top of the range model, suitable for 10ft - 12ft dish)
AJAK Aimer (mid range model, suitable for 7.5ft - 10ft dish)
AJAK Patriot (basic model, suitable for dishes up to 7.5ft)

@moonbase from your mentioned AJAKs I have in stock couple of Patriots and one H-180. They all need to be renovated though.

What type of renovation work is required for the AJAK H-180? Is it cosmetic such as rust or are there parts missing?

No, nothing much is missing, just need to disassemble, clean, paint, do some modifications and should be good to go. However..... I've posted old picture. I have already worked on the AJAKs. The big one fell to the ground and electrical motor was broken, so I've changed it to one from truck's window-viper and it is now 24V DC. One of the Patriots I am adjusting to 1.8m CM. But nothing is finished yet.
