Hi,

There are older datasets available on the Lacuna website here:

_http://www.metersupport.co.uk/datasetsat2.htm

It is also possible to edit it using satmeter3.02

available here:-

_http://www.metersupport.co.uk/sat2loader.htm

There is a password needed for Satmeter.exe. I know what it is, PM me if you want it.

Yes, when I clicked on some of the datasets they didn't work either.

So I worked my way down until I found one that did download OK.

eg this one _http://www.metersupport.co.uk/datasets/Sat2%20data/UK%20MkII%20230108.sat

cut and paste that into your browser.

The north and south databases are no good to you anyway for 16E, as they are for 28E.

The satpicker is no good either, as it doesn't allow you to change transponder details

The satmeter 3.0.2 however, does allow you to edit all transponders for all satellites, though doing so, may muck up the meters ability to distinguish one satellite from another as the meter doesn't have NIT so uses unique transponders for each satellite, so it can work out which sat its picking up.

Though the meters are sensitive enough, I got shot of my Lacuna, and got something, that in my opinion is far superior, that reads the NIT, much easier and quick to use meter for the "simple installer". Data sets are not required as you can store frequencies using the meter itself. The Emittor Saltlook Micro +G2 NIT.
