hi all hope someone can help, ive been looking at 2 laptops
1. Staples, CYBERCOM CENTRINO
2. Comet, ACER AS1672LMI

they are both around the same price but im unsure to which is best, or any suggestions on another, all i ask is it has 512 mem, and a dvd writer, ive spent most of the day trawling the internet and still seem to be no further forward

. if anyone has any of the above could you let me know what they are like.

What is your price budget ?

Are you happy with taking a similar model (same specs) from mail order ?

Local shops do have an edge on returns / repair, but if you can pay by credit card then you have that covered.

£800 ish, it depends on who the retailer is and wether they are credible if that makes sense mate.

For Acer I would consider buying direct from them. Have used them before and not had any problems
