Lg 50" tv set vertical lines problem - repairable?

Not sure of the model number. It is a 3D ready tv set and there are two pairs of 3D glasses that come with it. I even still have its box and packaging.
 
3D technology was dropped a while ago.Are you sure this is just on a year old ?
 
It has been broken for a couple of years. I was just asking if it was worth fixing before I throw it out.
 
Well based upon what is working I would have thought there could be some financial gains to be made by selling for spares.
