My brother has a hearing problem but not his Mrs :cool: so she don´t like the volume on the tellie

He has a bluetooth headset but when he tried to use that the TV killed the speakers !! Mrs didn´t liked that
There is no way to change this system but when he asked the dealer they said he - buy a gadget that would run a BT
from the hdmi connection on the tellie.

Is this the way to go ? That hdmi box was offered for 50 pounds. After googling he found boxes for less money but he is not sure
if they work for him.

I am sure You all hear very good :p but perhaps You could ask a friend for advice, as I do asking all of You (He is asking me like if I know everything)
 
I found a device a few years back that plugged into the digital out for the headphones, thereby retaining the normal volume control intact so both could listen. Around £10 including posting

Looking for cheap DAC with headphone socket
