Linux Mint 18 Beta Released

I rarely do that as it takes so long to make notes off all my extra packages, settings, desktop configuration etc etc.

Anyway, the end is in sight .....

And the garden is looking tidy!
 
Just updating the updates to the updated updates now.
 
Cripes, it's fast.

No errors.

All is organised as before.

All the Docs/Pics/Music etc are still there.

Ok, been using this for a few hours now and cannot fault it.

Fast, slick, stable and FREE.

Did have one small glitch when Firefox spontaneously decided to ditch all my Extensions. Fortunately I do monthly Profile Backups so that was easily sorted. Not a Mint issue, though, as I found from searching that this glitch is well-known and of long standing but not fixed by Mozilla.
 
It's been a few days now and I still cannot fault this Distro.

I commend it to the House.
