Does anyone know of an application which will run under Linux that will show me the signal strength of the satellite my dish points towards please?

My dish goes into my PC running Ubuntu 10.4 but I'm missing some normal channels and most of the HD channels as the transponder they use is either showing a faint or bad signal, I get a few HD channels, just not all of them and it's not related to my subscription.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?
 
Kaffeine has rudimentary signal strength/quality bars, but I was never happy with it, the quality bar was nearly always way out .I relied on my Echostar's bars before I had a decent spectrum analyser.
