LNB after 15 years' service

It's a normal KU LNB, with a plastic protection that has disintegrated with time and UV rays.

ok i see,so it s showing its guts,so to day!
 
If you invert it on the clamp it could give another 15 years without mods.
 
there was a lot of water inside and everything was short-circuited, it's completely out of order:N
 
Dry it out and see if it kicks into life, many do.

if the LNB is installed 'upside down', the water rarely gets into the electrics (on the older designs)

But then you have to turn your TV upside down to watch it.......
