lnb problems

hi all, can anybody help me with these questions?
what kind of lnb will fit my 2.4 meter dish, have tried looking on ebay and found some as cheap as 10 pounds, however a local sat guy told me only a invacom will fit. is this true and are the others worth buying if they do fit.
my dish always has problems with bbc,ch4 ect, bt a friends dish same size but 7 years old works fine all the time even with an old panasonic sat box. i have a pace box and i still have problems.
.have tried all sorts of ways to fix the problem but i think its the lnb, which is less than 9 months old.
will any lnb fit

i have a 2i4 meter dish and i want to know which lnb are best and which ones wioll fit, i want quad lnb.
any advice will be greatly appreciated

Sorry, I don't know the answer, however it may be more helpful if you provided a little more detail on the dish type/make etc.:)

I think maybe a photo of your current LNB on the dish would help greatly.

If the dish is a prime focus then probably the Invacom.Over here the quad qdf-031 is the best for receiving the 2D channels.
The Inverto is good but not for 2D,in my experience. I suppose it depends what satellite and frequencies you are after so recommendations from someone in your area.
