Unless you've managed to change it, root/dreambox is correct - make sure caps lock is off.

Hi,
Thanks for the info!

But its weird because it works fine on ftp using root & dreambox
but it will not work on any version of flashwizard!

is there some other good software for managing multi boots?

Thanks.
John.

Flash Wizard is the best.

Did you also check the FTP and FW IP addresses for the DB are the same?

Not sure about the 7020. What image are you running?I have a feeling that one of the RU Dream images (on the 7000 anyway) uses modified ID and PW.

I'd certainly go to FW 5.0 regardless. Probably better support for the 7020. Think this is likely to be your problem.

The DB is brand new this afternoon with the original software, strange cos it works on FTP or telnet etc, but no way will it work with flashwizard, not even the latest version 5.0, looks like I will have to use dreamup via com1.

Doesn't the 7020 have some strange two-stage boot loader?

I'd read up the FWP doco from MB to check what needs to be done. I think it works differently to the 7000.

Let us know how you get on. Only a couple of folks here have the 7020 so far.

No Way!

It Just Will Not Work On The Db7020!

You Will Have To Use Dreamup To Install Other Images, It Will Only Work With Images That Have (nfi) Extension Not (img).

Maybe There Is Some Other Software For Installing Multiboots? But I Havnt Found Any Yet.

John.

You can be sure that MusicBob will cater for the DM7020 very soon.
