Advice Needed Looking for a new box

Hi guys
First time post
I am looking for a new TV box.
I had a cloud ibox 11 for 14 months and it went on the blink just before Christmas
To be fair it worked really well the only complaints I had was the remote was not too hot
And it didn't record.
So if anyone can suggest or even supply a box that will cover my needs I would be grateful

Hi Owen welcome to the forum.

Do you have multisat or a fixed dish? Do you want SD or HD as well?
 
Fixed on 28E?

If so a recording Freesat box is probably the easiest option unless you want to pay for Sky.

If its fixed elsewhere than one of the Technomate receivers are currently popular. Many of us have the TM5402 - you have to add an external drive for recording but its a decent little receiver for not too many beer tokens.

I'm sorry I'm not clued up at all, on this
I had a box and I paid £65 a year to a guy and recieved every channel including sky sports and movies
Etc it was a cloud ibox I think enigma 2
It was really good picture no freezing well next to none
A friend of mine got me it
I think it was from ****** A/S edit
But he doesn't deal with the guy anymore he's got a open tv box
I bought a fire stick with kodi on it
But it is hopeless for watching sport
So I was looking for something similar to what I had
That doesn't buffer or freeze
 
Ah you were using an illegal card share. We cannot and will not help with that. Our recommended course of action for all pay tv services is pay the relevant legitimate provider for your desired channels and get a years hassle free viewing pleasure.

If for no other reason that if the pay server gets busted the fuzz are going for the customers now as well as the dealer & your IP address will be all over the server records. And you wont get any sympathy whatsoever from the forum here if you end up in a witness box being grilled by one of Sky's very expensive lawyers..........
