Also, over the winter there may not have been leaves on the tree that may be blocking the signal. With no leaves, the signal will pass through not too badly, but once they grow, it won't. You could get an inclinometer and check the angle. Moving the dish to the right or left may help. The dish could probable go a bit higher also, but would need a thicker pole and brackets spaced further apart, and for good measure an extra K.

Yeh I understand that over the winter there would be less chance of the tree's blocking the signal, but the leaves have been back a while now.

Also this time last week all the above sats were viewable, but the following day 39e had gone, and the I noticed the day after that, the signal drop on 19e, it's only really last night I bothered to check all the other sats mentioned.

Typical of leaves coming out & growth. Sounds as though you've been lucky and just cleared them in the past.

Or you can do the trees via the stealth mode, dark clothing, no moon, 3 AM, and a few nicely shined up (with steel wool) copper boat nails driven into the tree trunks (very quietly) and in a few months you don't have any leaves to worry about, trees died of old age.

I can't help much on this issue beyond what other folk have said but reading this thread makes me go "awwwww I know the feeling". I have two hobby set ups - both ground mounted. One is a multi-LNB and once Spring/Summer comes, I lose most of 1w on that set up but can get plenty of Eastern sats (5e to 28e) on that. The other is a small motorised dish and once Spring/Summer comes, I lose 15w to 22w on that but can get 5e to 12.5 w and 24.5w to 30w. The culprit is a set of trees with relatively heavy seasonal foliage. Many a time have I had dreams of doing some serious damage with a chainsaw!
