Lte 4g reception

Hi everyone,


I'm looking for a solution for my farm, bellow you can see the numbers I get from my phone. But I have a few questions:

- Does the LTE signal follow the same reflection patterns like the WI-FI signal?
- Can a satelite dish with a special device will help me improve signal resception?
- Any advice?

Not really sure what your question is here, perhaps it would be clearer if I understood Russian, what has reception via your mobile phone communications got to do with fringe reception satellite TV reception?

LTE and 4G, which both provide cellular data transfers.
The “G” in 4G stands for “generation,” because 4G is the fourth generation of mobile data technology, as defined by the radio sector of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-R). LTE stands for “Long-term Evolution” and applies more generally to the idea of improving wireless broadband speeds to meet increasing demand.

As I said I am not sure how a satellite dish can help your mobile phone reception, but perhaps systems are not the same in Panama
 
A parabola reflector will work for 4G frequencies, using the correct front end detector, though it requires alignment at a tower nearby. The video shown gives the detail for horizontal (point to point) reception from around 15 miles or 23kms away using a 60cm offset dish (though it does look larger).

Over the course of the video the alignment is improved to provide a quite respectable throughput of data, and a 30% increase in the 'ping'.
 
^^^ Yes, entertaining stuff on youtube regarding sat dish, but apart from having fun with the experiments, is it really practical \ efficient compared to dedicated equipment made for job ? Ok, miracles do happen sometimes.

But can't resist going out in the rain when it comes to 'scientific research', will do some tests with phones and modems and dish :O)

yes I know and understand what the G stands for and everything, but what is not clear for me is if the reflection of the LTE signal combine with a setellite dish and also a special equipment like the one shown above and now bellow will improve my signal reception...

these devices are intended to be used along with a dish, but I'm wory about wasting my money in something that will not do the job...

^^^ ahhh, now I see the pictures!, did not know about those small (compared to the large sat-internet devices) send\receive lnb's, they work on any router antenna sockets I suppose. Which 4G frequency do they cater for (match the mobile provider's 4G freq used in the region). Reasons for trying the dish way, is it believed to \ expected to have superior results than a good mobile antenna or a good quality signal booster ?

Anyway, surely some return opportunity for whatever is bought, so could try things and see what works in the region. Would be very interesting to see the results \ differences \ work needed etc for the lnb\dish vs a pro 4G antenna.

well i had around 70$ in my paypal account and I ordered the one bellow, hoping to not get rip-off, let see

and since this device works like an atenna I hve now to find an LTE router B28(Panama's LTE Band) capable to test and see, I will for sure report findings
 
B28 is only one part of the combined 4G allocation, stopping below 900MHz and will be limited in speed unless you add the next frequency band with a different canister.

It is strange that the one shown has 1700-2700 MHz on the labelling (and is back to front on the feed clamp.......)

this didn't work for me, I'm still testing, I'm now getting a yagi antenna.
 
Check the providers operation near you. Many use both poarities to increase data throughput, so you may need to buy a second yagi.
