Yesterday at 14.00 CET a major ecm was launched by all of the main Seca providers in Spain, Italy and France. The ecm involved was a significant upgrade to the firmware in official Gold Boxes(probabaly done over a period of time) rendering all gold cards useless. Rumour has it that they are now intoducing a new ident for which no keys are known what so ever.

The ecm has not affected receivers with ci Aston can - yet.

Hello Zansi,

What does this mean in real terms? I guess from your info that at the moment it only causes problems on built in cams which are upgraded via satellite.

Yes, the main victims are the goldboxes. The Aston Cams using anti-reset software seemto be working OK.
