manhattan and idreto fun

i have just started using funcards with my manhattan and idreto cam, i have the new cam { not sure what its called..euro etc, and would like to ask if someone could give me some codes to start me off, i have been using goldwafer for private and dutch channels, and would like to get premier also, i have tried the codes and keys off various sites without luck, it asks for a internal eeprom and flash, and eeprom files..its all new to me like it was with goldwafer..but picked it up and played about and got there in the end...i am using cardmaster program on millenium 4 programmer..any tips to share would be a great help and would be most gratefull for that little push..

Hi Mark,

The files for a funcard are slightly different, but programming is simil;ar.

In a lot of cases there will not be a separate internal Eeprom file, so you just need to programme the flash and external Eeprom.

There aren't too many of these files available, but there are a couple at Phill's.

It may be usefull if you could confirm your cam detials as if you have a standard Eurocam (Iderto) you will not be able to watch premier as the requires either an Alphacrypt (Betacrypt encription) compatble cam or a patched cam.

If you confirm your cam detials we can maybe help identify what your cam can best be used for.

If it's an IRDETO 4.7SE cam it can be used for IRDETO 1 and Betacrypt.

Yes the V1.06 Eurocam will not handle the Premier Betacrypt format. The Cam can be upgraded to a Alphacrypt. However this is one of the more difficult upgrades since you need to remove the AMD 29 series EEPROM and program off line the soldering process is difficult also as the device is a LFQP ( low flat quad profile).

There are sites on the internet that offer upgrades to this cam , but without the equipment it is not a practical upgrade at home.

Hey Mark, don't jump of the bridge just yet LOL. I presume you have looked at the magic cam as an alternative which, together with a programming interface, would set you back £130. With 'Fun 6 in 1' codes you would get to see Premier and quite a lot more besides. Obviously interesting but a bit of a financial outlay.

thanks jimbo, will bear that in mind, its that ive just payed for the idreto cam after having advice from another site, i have been looking at the magic cam and in time will get one,,,money money money hey...and who says life is free.....:)
