My Satellite Setup
mvision hd200 combo + Technomate 5400 Super+ technomate diseqc motor+ TD110 dish

Ireland and Gran Canaria
I was in the attic during the week and stumbled upon the above STB.It was bought in 2003 and was attached to my old H/H dish setup.I just realised how advanced it was for its time.I noticed it had Diseqc1.3/STAB compatible. I connected it up and luckily and found the user manual.It has an index function to select 20 satellites, press search and off it goes until it has tuned in all 20 satellites.Unfortunately because of its age and the fact it has never been "patched" it had satellites that clearly are no longer in orbit.My question is does anyone know how I could update this STB.The only connection to the outside world is a 9 pin RS232 port.I have Googled and found a number of related zip files but very little detail on the update process.The reason I would like to update the unit is its build quality and it is very solid
 
Hi Pete

Because of the age I suspect you will have to download the channels/sats to your stb and edit them then copy back as around that time they all seemed to work in a similar fashion using a null modem cable. So you really need to find the software that goes with it to perform those functions. I did find this when looking myself but only you know if it of any use
