Felipe Massa's condition was described as 'stable' on Sunday morning, with Ferrari confirming that there were no complications overnight following the Brazilian's successful surgery for a skull fracture at Budapest's AEK Hospital. Massa sustained the fracture and concussion during his high-speed crash at the Hungaroring during Saturday's qualifying session, in which he was struck on the head by a spring from the Brawn car of Rubens Barrichello...

Thank God he hit a tyre wall and not concrete. By the looks of the in car camera sequence he had just managed to drop down a couple of cogs before going unconcious. When I first saw it I had visions of another Ayrton Senna accident.
