hi,

how good are those dishes provided by sat muller ??,can anyone confirm the build quality and if made of steel or aluminium..any comments would be much apreciated...cheers guys:)

This is one of the best dish you can buy.
They ask in Germany 275 Euro.
If you look on the www you can find used models for less than 175 Euro the 90 Cm models

Hi Guys,

I've taken the plunge and ordered a MF90 from a shop in Austria - not sure if links are allowed on here, but if you google for Master Focus MF90 they are the only online shop in Austria.
They have them in stock but a limited quantity.

Sat Mueller only seem to deal with the trade and the other place in Germany advertising them only have dishes with polar mount and motor.

I've got a perfectly good Diseqc motor and the dish I'm getting comes with a fixed mount I have decided to go down that route.

I'm also getting an Inverto C120 twin.

So looking forward to joining the Gregorian club - if you'll have me of course ;)

Will let you know how it all goes.

Regards,

Steve.

Live links are not allowed, but otherwise I think it's ok to disclose your source for fibo parts? Erm actually double check with the mods, don't quote me on that :D

How much did you pay for yours, including shipping?

Otherwise, welcome to the bandwagon :D

Hi Kamaleon,

A lot more than for a std dish :( but it's what I want so I'm prepared to pay it.

Price was 199 Euro plus 30 Euro shipping from Austria to UK.

It should hopefully be with me next week :-bighappy

As the rules say: disable the links by using an underscore as in the following _http://www.example.com, this also applies to photos.

Good job!

Not a great deal of money in the big scheme of things though, is it?

I have a Fibo 90 on an SG2100 and it works very well. It's not a magic wand, but solid performance is guaranteed.

They are considerably heavier than a standard dish though... I had to rope mine from above and lower it into position. I just couldn't hold the weight of it and tighten bolts at the same time!

I have one of these, very well made dish, but although the dish face is aluminium, the dish bracket is very heavy and I'm not sure I'd want to put it on a DiSEqC motor unless it was in a sheltered location.

LOL, beat me to it .:)

You got a fibo too Rolfw?

Yes all the amateurs have got them ;)

lol well since 2 or 3 years ago... :D

Yes, but aside from a little bit of testing, it's hardly been out of its box.:)

You got it new mate?
