what are the pros and cons of matrix and dragon cams. i have to buy one, suggest which should i chose

you should confirm that both will work with your reciever 1st I have an echostar and both work fine with mine but the mrev is a lot cheaper to buy than the dragon but I'm not sure about a programmer though...

none of them can do it
Dragon is better, can read official SkyUK and SkyIT cards, decrypt more channels, is more expensive, need a smartamouse + loader card or cas3 to programm it
Matrix is cheaper and can be programmed via notebook PCMCIA

both cams can be pains to work with but can also be very rewarding without valid cards (not that i watch much tv)i have both and couldnt live without them some times one is better than the other but they have both been well supported so choose wisely as when you buy the one you will only want the other
