have recently lost a pile of channels using tutv1 stb keeps telling me that channel 6 for instance (ITV2) is retuning but comes up with nothing and repeats itself anyone got any ideas please...........
 
Post moved to terrestrial TV digital section.

A lot of transmitter work is being carried out at the moment in readyness for the analogue switch off. You do not say which transmitter you are using but all outages and missing channels can be tracked by going to the relevant transmitter site, like for me e.g. it is Winter Hill
 
Think I get signal from sutton coldfield but other digital in house is working fine, it's just the tutv1. think it may be due to updating itself, but don't know how to factory reset all the updates 'cos it just keeps on showing the same problem

No sign of any transmitter problems, is it a problem with your subscription card?
 
I can see a couple of potential problems here:

1) Sutton Coldfield has been on reduced power whist the mast is partially rebuilt (no idea if its still on low power)

2) If the Matsui isnt on the latest firmware it may have problems handling the split network tables introduced over the winter.

Put this into google:
"Matsui tutv1 lost channels" without the " "s and you get a shedload of hits about it.
